It might be that they failed to say "over" after a radio transmission. Did they check the blue card? Oh, I know, the foamers saw that they didn't take time for a thorough job briefing before reversing direction. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After further review, RFE Brizy exhonerates this UP crew of all charges....

A man was on the point: Clearly you can see him givin a big "back up" sign in the begining of the video.

There was a flashing red aspect....

However, I did write up the hoghead of that job for having his fucking ditch lights on while shoving back. There is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR THAT!

Call me stupid, you wouldn't be the first, but wtf was the foamers problem HERE that I missed?  The ditch lights were on, cab cards signed, crews did their stretching exercises and performed a proper job briefing, what?  Is it that they didn't blow the whistle for the crossing?

Nice catch BD.  I nearly missed that.  Not only did they not blow, but they also forgot to ring the bell and I didn't hear crossing device sound either.  Shame on UP.

They were goin for a quit, Pipes....It was probably their Friday....

Dont know if you seen em, but some crossings now have a feature where the bell only rings when the gates come down....Once theyre down, the bell quits....The bell will ring when the gates go back up.....

From the vid it doesnt even look like the box cars are moving side to side.  If foamer thinks that is bad, I know a couple spots on our main that would make his head explode.
