ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- The Alaska Railroad's interim chief executive will be Bill O'Leary, reports the Anchorage Daily News.
O'Leary is the railroad's chief financial officer. He will replace current president and chief executive Pat Gamble, who is leaving the railroad to become president of the University of Alaska system.
O'Leary was appointed to the interim post by the railroad's board of directors during a meeting March 25. The board will meet again April 1 to plan the search for a new president and chief executive, the railroad said.
