UTU brothers, sisters and friends are collecting money for the young family of Jeffery Scholl, a member of Local 367, Omaha, Neb., who was killed in June when a storm-weakened bridge on which he was standing collapsed.
"On June 15, we in Nebraska lost a fellow railroader," wrote Assistant Nebraska State Legislative Director Bob Borgeson. "Jeffery Scholl of Local 367 died at work when a bridge collapsed near Norfolk, Neb. Brother Scholl leaves behind a young widow and two small children.
"Suzie Scholl and her two sons, Ryan, 6,and Brendan, 3, are going to be our grand marshals in this year's Labor Day parade in Omaha. We are honored that they will join us in celebrating Labor Day.
"I ask you to consider making a donation to the Scholl family to help keep them going in their time of need," Borgeson said. "Donations can be personal checks or you may consider asking your local to make a contribution, or both. If you can help, please make your check out to 'SUZIE SCHOLL.' Mail them to me and I will present them to her. My address is Bob Borgeson, 12503 Anne St., Omaha, NE 68137."
I guess if it is some kind of memorial fund for the kids education or stuff like that. Otherwise, why not cut out the middle man. Phuck banks, hate em.

If he was a work, and a bridge collapsed, sounds like the family is gonna wind up with all the money they are ever gonna need. not that it can bring back a loved one....
