Tab Hunter, 86, 1950s Hollywood Heartthrob, Is Dead

Tab Hunter, the tall, blond, blue-eyed movie star who as a teenage idol in the 1950s was one of the last products of the Hollywood studio system and who made an unlikely comeback in a very un-Hollywood film when he was almost 50 died on Sunday in Santa Barbara, Calif. He was 86.

His death was confirmed by his spouse, Allan Glaser, who said the cause was cardiac arrest after a blood clot moved from Mr. Hunters leg to his lung.

Well if the New York Times reports it, it's a pretty good bet that he's deceased. Dead. No longer among the breathing. Pushing up daisies. Persona non grata. Ceased to be. In other words, dead, dead, dead!

Was she a star? Who know, but if she was known for anything significant other than being married to Frank, and bearing three of his kids, nobody mentions that! Well Nancy Sinatra (wife of Frank) is dead.

https://pagesix.com/2018/07/14/frank-sinatras-first-wife-nancy-sr-dead-at-101/

Frank Jr. attempted to sing. Not really an impressive career at that. Daughter Nancy too. She had one big hit with "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'" which was big hit for troops in Vietnam during the '60s. But what of their third daughter? Hmmm....

Anybody remember her, or her name, and was she famous in any way? Guess not. When yer dead, nothing else matters.

"Nancy Sr". Don't hear women names with "Sr/Jr" much.

Automotive exec of Fiat/Chrysler Sergio Marchionne, also dead.

Them BIG Dodge-Ram pick-ups sure are selling like hot cakes though!

In Ory-gun if ya drive anything but a big pick up truck, you're suspicious!

Cops eyeball ya. Friends think you're gay (not that there's anything wrong with that), women avoid ya.

Kids think you're the boogeyman, or the guy under their bed...

Ya wanna live in Oregon, get a BIG Ford F-Series PUP, a Chevvy Diesel truck, or a RAM Diesel!

Is that even true in Portland? I've read Portland is a yuppie-ized, millennial sort of place surrounded by a complete state of rednecks who would fit in well in Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, and a whole host of other redneck strongholds.

Michael J. Fox Is Not Dead, Despite What a Death Hoax Tried to Make Fans Believe

On Sunday, a false report was posted on a site that was seemingly designed to trick readers into thinking they were reading a Yahoo! News article. However, while the two sites had similar looks, stories from the real outlet appear online at www.yahoo.com/news, while this story appeared on http://www.yahoonews-us.com.

Stan Mikita, arguably the greatest player in Blackhawks history, died Tuesday after a long illness. He was 78.

There are no words to describe our sadness over Stans passing, the team said in a statement. He meant so much to the Chicago Blackhawks, to the game of hockey and to all of Chicago.

I watched Stan Mikita on B&W TV in the 60's and then in color in the 70's.
