Tried 'turkey bacon' with eggs (scrambled) this morn... Smelled great while frying, looked good in the pan... Great expectations.

Disappointed. Anybody want left overs?

Surely the 'Paeolithic' types didn't look like this...or eat raw steak! Or did they?

You might think the soup "industry" might be that "go-to-guy"
when meal planning on a budget or just have the simple desires
for a bowl of soup, the soup industry today is not about
nourishment, it's about a list of ingredients that have come forth
by eliminating the healthy ones (too expensive). The internet
has a million soup recipes that dont tread into the haz-mat category.

I make a chicken noodle soup using Tyler Florence's recipe. Sometimes
I make my own chicken stock and sometimes I'll buy from the store.
You'd be fortunate to find a quart of "chicken stock" for less than $3 and
most recipes require 2 qts. Soup making has become more expensive
over time. I like this recipe and you know its better on day tuu. I tried
the wide egg noodles but I prefer the Chinese Egg Noodles which is

like spaghetti. Three days worth of "food" every time I make it.
