When Ma was still around there was always instant coffee in the house. And I agree with Jules and Vincent there as she did that Nescafe freeze dried Taster's choice is a premium product in that niche. Tried the Starbuck's instant  free samples at work and frankly it's underwhelming.

That's almost as funny as the original. The original is so funny

that it needs to be seen again. I'm very much in the same

mindset as Jimmy concerning coffee. "I'm the the one that

buys the shit because I want to taste the coffee.". Even

more funny is Winston Wolf noticing Jimmy's great coffee.

Movie notes.... As you can see by the timer, the clip Krink posted is a little over 2 minutes long.

So why doesn't the hands on the clock on the wall behind Jimmy move?

A very humerous scene in the movie "Coffee and Cigarettes"
is the Iggy Pop/Tom Waits discussions. A insationable love of
coffee and needing a cigarette.

Think the best new TV show for 2012-13 was "Dangerous
Grounds" on the Travel Channel. It's like a hunt for "good
drugs" in a way. Some kick-ass coffee's growing around
the planet...just got to go find it. Season one is done after
8-shows. Todd is a fearless person. Hope the show comes
back for another season.

There goes Uke's budget.

NEW YORK (AP) Starbucks is raising prices on some of its drinks by 5 cents to 20 cents starting next week, and customers can also soon expect to pay $1 more for the packaged coffee it sells in supermarkets.

The Seattle-based chain also raised prices on some of the drinks sold in its cafes a year ago. The latest hikes don't seem to be driven purely by the surging bean costs that have pressured other coffee sellers to raise prices, however, since Starbucks has said it already locked in its coffee contracts for the rest of this fiscal year and much of the next.

In March, CEO Howard Schultz said during an interview with Fox Business that Starbucks had no intentions of raising its prices.
"We can manage this, we have over a year's worth of protection," Schultz said at the time. "I suspect that most of our competitors are short, and we are in a much better position than they are."

In an email Friday, Starbucks spokesman Jim Olson noted that many factors go into pricing decisions, including "competitive dynamics" and the company's "cost structure," which he said includes costs for a variety of ingredients, as well as materials, labor and occupancy costs.

And the publicity continues on the place:

Starbucks says man harassed customers parking in disabled
spaces
By Zack Peterson, Times Staff Writer
Saturday, August 1, 2015 10:33pm
TAMPA In December, Rob Rowen complained to
a driver outside the Starbucks Coffee Co. store at W
Azeele Street and Dale Mabry Highway.
"If you do not move your car," he said, "I will tell everyone inside that you are not handicapped."
In January, Rowen knocked on a woman's window. "You need to move your car," he told her.
She called the cops. So did he.

In February, Rowen chided another customer about parking in the handicapped space.
"It's OK because everyone does it," the customer told him.

For months, Rowen had been complaining about Starbucks customers who illegally parked inhandicapped spaces. Then someone complained about Rowen. When the letter arrived on July 23, the controversy was on.
"I think you've heard a little bit about me," Rowen told a reporter, "the-banned-for-life-from Starbucks guy."

It read like a college rejection letter:
"We regret to inform you that you have been expelled from Starbucks Coffee "
The reason?
"Threatening the well-being of a customer."
Rowen proudly displayed the notice inside Nuance Galleries, which he founded in 1981.
"I wouldn't say this was harassment," said Rowen, 62. "Accessibility is a huge issue."
The drivers Rowen stopped, he said, didn't have the required handicapped placards. Florida law backs him up.
"There really isn't anything to explain," said Tampa police spokeswoman Andrea Davis. "You can't park in a handicapped
spot unless you have the permit to do so."
The traffic violation comes with a $165 fine in Hillsborough County.
"We get a lot of calls on this exact incident," said Carol Stachurski, program operations manager at Disability Rights
Florida. "A lot of calls."
Instead of flinching, Rowen turned the exile into a media spectacle. He called TV stations, posted the letter online, created
hashtags: #starbucks #bannedforlife. The spark ignited a firestorm.
Then, Starbucks lifted the ban.
"We understand Mr. Rowen's concerns," the company said in a statement. "Company leaders are working with the
landlord to improve the parking situation at this store and have
