Mr Putz has so generously provided the internet these photos:

The first hint is on the extreme right hand of the photo. Who broke those branches off..that high up? Sasquatch?

Now we have a good idea of the area involved. The rail sticking up from the ROW is marked YL on the other side

(Yard Limits).  A few short weeks ago, you would have never seen it for the weeds/bushes. I hope they trim this far back everywhere!!

Just look at the carnage in the background. I'm sure Mr Putz was impressed by this piece of MofW gear, but I'm

impressed by the sudden loss of brush and small trees.

I'd love ta see the machine that trims this far back, I've been told it resembles a track hoe with a double long boom on it,

On up the hill from here you can see several foot thick and better trees that were trimmed from the top down, just like

chopping it down and running it thru a chipper, without chopping it down first.

Like I said I hope they do this EVERYWHERE!

One last pic..its a trivia question, the portapottys are owned by AC&T. (A long time ago it was Ardinger Cole & Tucker)

According to the last man standing, Mr Ardinger, what do those letters stand for now??

They are for the track guys, they can lay out ballast, new ties, tieplates, etc, and even park the worktrain and unload the MofW machines.

But you wont know when they are gonna start.

When you see the Jiffy-Johns, you know work is about to begin.

The Whistle-Dicks dont need a potty, I've read over on Train oders that some of the diehards over there catheterize themselves so they

can stand beside the track for extended periods of time without having to miss a train because of having to wee-wee.

I've often wondered why you see one walking around like he just stepped in a puddle, now you all know tu.

Sorry for the little updater Cal... But I think we might find ourselves on CSX's schitt-list. Yep! They're probably trackin' us right now as we speak, or go ta press! Whatever. All this Goggley tracking crap has me worried. I may hafta move. Ta Hawaii...or Cyprus.

I doubt CSX gives a futch about someone noticing thier brush trimming activities.

It is a much more pleasing to the eye method (to cut it down) than to spray it with fertilizer

making the plants burn themsevles up and then leave shitty brown dead brush standing with healthy green

foilage behind it in the shape of the sprayer used to spray it from the track.

How they doing on all ya'alls stretches of RR? (CSX, CP, CN, NS, BNSF, UP, Out & Back Ry)

Spray or chop?

Maybe we need a pole...

Naah, already know the answer to that...

Around here they spray. Seen them use a third party truck who came in and asked where was a good spot he could drop his hose and suck up water. Every once in a while they bring out the no mercy hack saw.

2LARRCO made sure that every living tree, weed, and blade of grass along the corridor from Interbay ta Everett (WA) was cleared back ta fifty feet. They went overboard in the efforts however. Evidenced by the last couple years of 'mudslides' along that very corridor. Their rationale? Trees were committing suicide by jumping in front of unsuspecting trains, occasionally injuring someone...and perhaps a locomotive as well.

MOW took a slash, and burn tactic along the corridor. The result? Huge mud slides and train delays. Including Amtrak and commuters, freights being rerouted, money lost, crews running trains in unknown territory... A real mess.

Cost BNSF more'n a few bucks, and lost shippers (To UP) out here!

LAMCO has something Snippy just noticed on the lineups as a SkyTrim crew or SkyCutter or something like that. Seems it might be the same thing as CSeX.

Nope...you wont find any porcelin within yards of these things.

Just injection molded plastic and blue Goo. Its as close as you can get to the old 55 gallon drum with a

toilet seat bolted on top, that you used to see in the nose of select GP-40's. (But these things get a regular

dumping and cleaning.) They are modified 2 holers, one open hole for sitting, and a urinal off to the side,

but you still got yer a-holes who like to spray the seated position down...Hovering is in order.
