It happened near Grand Junction, just 60 miles northwest of Des Moines. A coal train with 13 cars heading to Crescent, Iowa derailed smashing into a 22-car train on its way to Oakland, leaving a tangled mess of metal and coal.


A "13" car coal train? what is that? A "22" car train on its
way to Oakland? Must have been an "energy vortex" in the
area to cause such an "unlikey" accident.
