SUPERIOR, MONTANA -- The investigation continues into the derailment of a train near the town of Superior, Montana Thursday night.

Some of the cars carried aircraft components.

Nineteen cars on the westbound train derailed. Three of the cars contained aircraft parts and ended up in the Clark Fork River. Sources tell KING5 the parts were heading to Boeing in Renton.

Crews spent the night and into this morning cleaning up.

No one was hurt and the cause is under investigation.

Nothing a little Bondo® brand dent removal and smoothing material won't take care of.

Looks like Borat Air is going to come across 3 ridiculous deals on slightly "used" aircraft.

Notice all but the middle one is still attached to the flatcar they were
riding on which should speed-up recovery. Yep..just yank them out of
the river, pull them up the cliff, re-rail the cars, and on the way to Renton
Wa they go. The MRL has been BN/BNSF's pipeline for hi-wide Boeing
traffic since forever. Boeing is doing enough business today to have
their own trains today known on the BNSF are the "J-trains" which are
usually 12-20 cars of nothing but hi-wide Boeing shipments. Not sure
of the train number that derailed but it sounds like a "J-Train". Its
the Sun oppose Pluto train derailment.

Off the news feeder-Market News info

9. -- Three Boeing (BA_) 737 fuselages were damaged when they fell into the Clark Fork River in a train derailment in Montana last week.

Six fuselages were aboard a westbound train when 19 cars derailed Thursday about 10 miles west of Alberton, Mont. The three remaining plane sections also fell off but stayed on land.

Boeing said in a statement that it has experts at the scene to assess the damage. Marc Birtel, director of media relations, told The Associated Press on Sunday that he didn't have information on what the experts have decided.

The fuselages were traveling from a Spirit AeroSystems  (SPR_) plant in Wichita, Kan., to a Boeing facility in Renton, Wash., to be assembled into airliners.

(You can betcher ass that IF these six 737s can be salvaged, and repaired, they'll be flying next year!) Boeing has already invested tu much ta just trash 'em after a little trip down a little hill, and dip in a river!

Yeah...like Boeing's gonna let that out! Twenty bucks they'll just disappear back inta the regular production release for 2015. The only way ta get close to 'em is ta have somebody on the scene while they pull 'em outa there!

Just heard on local news that it's gonna be one more day before they-MRL/BNSF/Boeing-pull the three from the drink, and three on the ground, loaded and moved...

That's assuming STB/FRA lets 'em be moved again over MRL rails! Lotsa work ta be done before...
