Well good news for the Seahawks as they get a couple
important persons back on defense to start the game at Seattle
against Arizona. Seems that was all that has been missing the
past few weeks is the "Legion of Boom" defence at full strength.
Arizona found out as they scored a field goal and that was it for
them for the game. Russell Wilson got sacked I think 6-7 times
but had one of his best days at QB with his passing and running.
Marshawn Lynch is such an amazing player. Seahawks "D" wins
this game 19-3. Next stop is 4-days from now at the SF 49's
new stadium for a "Turkey Night" match-up of 7-4 teams in
the NFC West. This will be a high-anxiety game to watch if
you are a Seahawks fan. Also the Sun square Neptune aspect
on Wednesday will have some carry-over into Thursdays
game. Maybe some player is too ill to play or gets injured
in practice. Playing an important football game with a Sun
square Neptune in effect..just hope your team finds a way
to win. Seahawks I'm sure going to SF to win this game.

The last line of my last post.."Seahawks I'm sure going to SF to
win this game". Never know how things turn out with a Sun
square Neptune aspect. You might think that the Seahawks
having 3-days off between games and having to travel into
the most hostile place to play their arch-rival in a very
important part of schedule that maybe the Seahawks might
not play good..but you would be wrong. The Seahawks played
tremendous and the 49'ers were the team on this day that
showed ill-effects of the Sun square Neptune as the team played
like they were ill. Seahawks D holds SF to less than 170 yard
total offence. Russell Wilson had some of the greatest scrambles
to get out of trouble in one game that I ever seen. Marshawn
Lynch has another 100yd + day and the Seattle Seahawks defence
is all back together for the 2nd week. Interesting the same score
2-weeks in a row..19-3. I was listening to some post-game radio
coverage and they were discussing that winning consecutive
games 19-3 has to be the first time in NFL history. While that is
sorted out..I can tell you its the first time in NFL history a team
wins 19-3 in games 4-days apart. Seattle Seahawks are back
on track now at 8-4 and Arizona isnt that far ahead. Seattle
gets 10 days to prepare for a visit to Philly and the Eagles
are playing very well. Huge game for both teams.

The Seahawks have played well on the East Coast last year
and this year too so I hoped to see the Seahawks play the
Eagles in Philly like they are "the team" once again going
for another Super Bowl and I was not dissappointed. An early
muffed punt by the Seahawks gave the Eagles the ball in
the Red Zone..they scored. Seahawks counter with a Russell
Wilson scramble for a TD and its 7-7 for a long time and the
Hawks kick a FG to end the 1st half up 10-7. The Seahawks
defence wore down this Eagles team in the 2nd half and
Marshawn Lynch was Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson
had his usual game as the Seahawks roll up over 400 yards
of offence and win this big show-down of teams with great
records so far 24-14. The Seahawks Defence allowed Philly
only 139 yards of offence for the game. Eagles coach Chip
Kelly seemed to be whining all game with the officials as
for what reasons I do knot no. Seahawks played their game
at Plilly and won it pretty convincingly. So next up is the
SF 49'ers next Sunday in Seattle. SF seems to be in a downward
slide and I'm sure the Seahawks will want that slide to continue
as the Seahawks really need to win-out to guarantee anything.
The Seahawks D can win a game right now. The offence can
win a game right now. Thats the combination to go further.

The SF 49'ers played pretty good during the first half at Seattle
and went into the locker room up 7-3. The second half the
Seahawks Defence dint allow any more points. SF played
like a team thats headed for the shitter. Russell Wilson made
the plays he needed and Marshawn Lynch got into the endzone.
Not the greatest display of Seahawks offence but the defence
added to their current streak of "shut-down" preformances.
Next Sunday is the biggest game of the season for the Seahawks
as they travel to Arizona to play the Cardinals which are 1 game
up in the standings. A winner take all game. AZ has QB issues
with their 3rd string QB going down this Sunday.

You notice in my reporting that I dont create any "billboard"
material. In my mind going in that it was going to be a
defensive struggle against the Cardinals that havent lost at
home all season. The Seahawks showed all their powers at
Arizona Sunday night with a rout 35-6. Interesting that
Seahawks.com/roster that no players birthdays are provided.
Now the Mariners website has birthdates of every player..
so I go to wiki-pedia to find out Marshawn Lynch's birthday.
Marshawn Lynch b. April 22 1986 in Oakland CA. So what does
that mean? My main reason for looking up Marshawn birthdate
was because I wanted to know what transits he might be
experiencing today to esplain "his upset stomach" and a lot
more. Marshawn Lynch was born under the sign of Taurus the
bull. Now everybody knows Marshawn is known for his
"Beast-mode" running and now you know..like trying to tackle
a bull. Marshawn was still in the locker-room at the start of
the game probly puking-up his breakfast. He shows up on the
sideline midway thru the 1st quarter and still wearing a stocking
hat. Its like Marshawn was coming to and the team was giving
him all the time he needs to get right. Finally the TV coverage
shows Marshawn putting on his helmet late 2nd quarter.
Marshawn has a beast-mode TD in the 3rd quarter on 10yd run
but maybe we saw the best of Marshan Lynch to date with
a 79-yard run that had everybody a ga-ga. "Beast-mode".
Russell Wilson had a great game and Seahawks destroy
Arizona. So the Seahawks go home to play the St Louis
Rams in the last week of the season with good chance to
"win-out" and secure homefield advantage through the
play-offs.

Week 17 of the NFL regular season and its a must win against
the visiting St. Louis Rams to get the number 1 seed of the NFC
playoffs and a first round bye and home field advantage to the
Super Bowl. The Rams won the previous meeting in St Louis
and werent afraid of the Seahawks coming to Seattle and it
showed as the Rams go into halftime with a 6-0 lead. I had a
hard time really getting myself "revved-up" as a fan as maybe
I was still in Xmas post-mortem but what has been the most
consistant these last 8-games for the Seahawks is "they will figure
it out at halftime" and the end for you. The Seattle Seahawks have
the best defense in NFL history. So the Seahawks score 20 points
on St Louis in the 2nd half while giving up nada. Marshawn Lynch
gets another rushing TD and Bruce Irvin's "pick-6" TD and that
pretty much sealed the deal. Seahawks 20-6 over the Rams.
Seahawks get a chance to rest and heal and see who advanced
to their likely doom in Seattle in 2-weeks.

So last week I see the Carolina Panthers dismantle Arizona
in Charlotte with Cam Newton having a great game and the
Carolina defense on fire and end Arizona's season. So
Carolina has never visited Seattle (Seattle has visited Carolina
3-4 times and won every game) so I'm sure the 2800 mile
plane ride to drizzly Seattle with temps in the mid-40's was
a "oh-no" right off the bat. Carolina's first appearance in Seattle
and dealing with the noise. 68,500 fans yelling and screaming
on every play. Interesting I cant remember Carolina having a
false start penalty in this game which is most of the battle in
Seattle as the roar of the crowd makes it hard to hear the snap
count. Seattle offense takes a while to get going and Russell Wilson
made some really great throws in this game and some very
remarkable catches by Jermain Kearse (3-catches 129 yard, 1TD)
Carlolina played tough in the first half and the end of the first
half had 3-4 very remarkable things happen to make me wonder
how lucky Carolina could be in getting a win in Seattle Saturday.
Kam Chancellor played like a super-human from his safety position
this game. On 2 consecutive FG attemps by Carolina, Kam hurdled
the opposing center and got right into the kickers face..1st
time he missed getting a mit on the kick but a penalty on the Hawks
gave the Carolina kicker another chance. Same thing as Kam times
his hurdle of the center just right again but only this time he runs
into the kicker and draws the penalty. So Carolina finally kicks
for 3-points and go into halftime down 14-10. Thats where
Carolina's season ended really. Seattle will come out in the
2nd half and finish you off. Russell Wilson played to perfection,
huge leaping catches by Jermaine Kearse and Luke Wilson and
Marshawn Lynch had one run that got the whole stadium rockin
in earthquake mode. Back to Kam Chancellor..he grabbed a
90-yard pick-6 for the crushing end to the Panther season.

So the Seahawks get to sit back in their comfy chairs and
watch the "2nd Ice Bowl" between Green Bay And Dallas.
1967 Dallas played at Green Bay in one of the coldest playing
conditions ever. Going to be an ice bowl again. Hope not
too many go down to injury in this game because
you got to go to Seattle next week .

So Green Bay is headed to Seattle for the 2nd time this season.
I think the whole Seahawks package is going to prevail in a
big way next Sunday.
