Went through there on a detour once. Can't make that trip today, most of it is a bikepath. Worked with guys who traveled it everyday. Including a amusing story about the HAWG who hit his own car. Here's a clue:

Not Corman. U. S. Rail. North-south line and the freighthouse is the IMC (Indianapolis and Michigan City). East-west line at the target is the Clover Leaf, both of them NKP lines, both shortlined/abandoned in the early 90's. Cy worked with numerous refugees from these lines, both 'leafers and IMC men. The oldest man on the roster Cy retired from was a 'leafer, he's still working, he's about 77 years old. I believe he may be the only NKP hire still working for LAMCO. I know of no others.
