Took me a while to figure out things last summer with

the BNSF empty coal trains detouring via BNSF Sumas Sub.

Thought for sure they would take the CP route but no..

the SRY route was choosen. Seems the SRY track is in

good shape today. This was a good video to see the SRY

route to Sumas which I dint have a mental recollection of.

Dont know if this detour is still happening into 2015.

It stopped on Jan 4th of 2015, 1 day before we were locked out. Currently we are still locked out and the BNSF coal empties are still not running and the BNSF will not even cross the border to deliver to the SRY as they will not cross the picket.

Sounds like things are pretty intense. Hopefully Mercury going
direct will rectumfy things in short order.

There is another video I found by the same guy that shot
the posted video and its amusing to watch motorists approaching
a stop sign at a railroad crossing and what happens over a few
minutes. Think the SRY needs a "gate" at this crossing. Maybe
you can pass that on to your boss.

Well there seems to be some residule MIR as the video

I selectect went "hard to see". I'll be working on the problem.

Meanwhile I stumble on to this which you might appreciate or not.
