NASCAR at Talledega this weekend

I dont need a reason to watch all the races at Talledega

this weekend because its biggest fastest oval ever created.

So my nephew has been working around  the Dallas-Ft Worth

area for the last year and his parents my sister/bro-in-law flew

down from the GPNW to meet up and head to Talledega

for Xfinity race Saturday and the Sprint Cup 500 Sunday.

My nephew has 3 NASCAR races under his belt (2 at Texas

and one at Kansas) as his boss is a NASCAR fan and they've

gone to the races they've gone to. I spoke with my bro-in-law

just last Saturday about this "trip and race of a lifetime" to

Talledaga. I told him I envy him as its a trip I cant make due

to my old age but you can bet I will watch every lap on my

HD TV. I look forward to reports from my "family members"

attending Talledega this weekend. The weather is looks

great for the weekend.

What's with the old age? You're not Cy's age. Cy is aghast.

Yeah, Krink. For some old folk around these parts, don't say it's old age. The truth is that you see the race better on TeeVee. Much better.

That's it.

Well lets say I've been to a 1000 car races without a bum
left ankle and zero with a bum left ankle. I'm happy with
the TV coverage of the races today so it works out that
I dont need to travel all over to watching races anymore.

So I'm going to email my sis and see what they thought of
racing at Talladega from the stands. Both the Xfinity race
and Sprint Cup race were typical Talladega. Dale Jr gets
his 6th win at this track with Jimmie Johnson right behind.
There was a "Big One". More later.
