Still seems Hillbilly Harrison's gonna go home without the big prize! LAMCO. He still doesn't seem ta get it, or he's in denial. Not for sale reads the sign at LAMCO hqs. Why doesn't the idiot understand? Maybe he's been studying that French Canadian/Canadien lingo too long, and just don't get "No!" anymore! Maybe he's waitin' on a "Non!"

Only time will tell. Maybe Hunter is just stupid. Could be!

Funny, how some people dont know how Business works. If you are a Business that belongs to the stockmarket, then you offer small pieces in the company referred to as a share.

people can buy as many or as few shares as they want. if you buy enuff shares you can take over control, and if you buy all the shares you can own the company lock stock and barrel.

NS CSXT UP BNSF, are all public companies that belong to the stock market. By belonging to the stock market you are offering your company for sale. CP wants to buy NS, just like a man chasing a woman. NS has belittled the man in CP twice, by making fun of his first offer, and then by belittleing him and making fun of his intentions.

The man now is left with the option to rape the beiattch.

Well, he has to make a majority of the shareholders desire to SELL their shares. So far, he hasn't offered Snippy enough to sell his shares. Snippy doesn't make a difference.

But, Cunter (and anyone else) has to offer enough large green to acquire the shares before he can own it.

LARRCO/BNSF is no longer a publicly traded 'railroad,' nope! Instead it is a wholly 'owned' subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, itself controlled by one Uncle Warren Buffett. (There may be a 'menu' of companies which are also parts/pieces of BH at the BNSF forum).

All the rest named, plus KSC (KSU), CN, and a few short line/regionals are listed on the NYSE.

Here's the list of 'other' outfits owned by Uncle Warren's Berkshire Hathaway:

Kansas City Southern, KCS. NYSE listing as KSU. Sadly sold by Uke because they stopped paying dividends... Dumb-assed move! Another stuppid move was shorting CP because of Ackman's board seat, and his bringing Hillbilly aboard.
