I still have this "I just walked out of a theater buzz" after watching this 2hr video on YouTube.

This video is amazing and action packed the entire 2hrs to where it forces you to put it on pause

a few times because the tension is tuu much tuu watch at times. This guy Owen or "RanOutonaRail"

delivers a "video experience" riding a series of hot UP stack trains from Seattle to Los Angeles in a

continuum. The video is 4k and every angle possible and just a genius effort and travels with a rr scanner

and cellphone and is able to name every siding and city and every bridge. 100% unapproved activity

by the railroads and police and BJ Members but there is a group it seems today that can still "hitch a

ride on a freight train" today. Owen has a lot on YouTube. Start with this one. Save as a favorite and

watch when you got 2hrs.

I couldn't hep myself as I needed to watch more of this "trainhopping video" style and
checked out more from this guy. What an adventurer with no fear and great with a camera.
Seems to know everything about railroading with accurate location names, bridges, sidings.
Know what video shots that will "rock your socks" if you are a railfan. Passing meets at 70mph+
and you know the turbulance is quite hard to measure...lose your hat for sure. So I watched the
Northtown/St.Paul to Pasco WA hopping a BNSF Z train and just an amazing set of videos to watch.
Still you need to watch Seattle to LA as this one is special and just relesed a week ago. I leave
another sample of trainhopping from Belen NM to Needles CA. If you let it run the next part comes
up. Enjoy.

Watched that SeaWA to LA vid. All 2 hours. Favorite parts? Rolling through Oregon. Although it's narrowly focused on the ROW of UP, it's an enjoyable trip all the way!

I wondered how many "trainhopping videos" there are on YouTube and there are 100's.
"RunOutonARail" which I recommend watching everything he's posted. So my
next "trainhopper" personality "Stobe the Hobo" I just met today and like the guy already.
Found this "introductory video" of Stobe the Hobo and it is most interesting and enjoyable.
Stobe the Hobo has many videos to watch and they are all great.

I'll never forget that one. I had just watched the link from Brizy and almost immediately read from you he was dead. (or vice versa) The guy had talent.

Wondered what happened to Stobe. He posted many outstanding vids. Thought of him as a real live hobo. Although it was clear his trips were just adventures, seemed he enjoyed every mile, and sharing 'em tu!

Canada were some of my faves! RIP Stobe

Caught this one today, and hadda share it with ya Krink. Australia, before they 'standardized' the entire continent. Seems almost every state had their own gauge. Narrow (3'6"), and wide 5', as well as standard (4'8-1/2"). Sometimes they piggy-back narrow gauge cars on standard cars, instead of unloading and reloading between point of origin, and destination. Fun flick. Now I wanna visit Oz, and travel all over by rail!

Enjoy!

Thanks Yardslug for telling me that as I had no idea Stobe the Hobo died.
I spent about 5hrs watching his videos today trying to catch-up on his many
episodes on YouTube and now I learn this. He's a legend for sure and all his
stuff on YouTube you got to see because its that good. His observations are
so understandable. Watching the rest of Stobe the Hobo episodes will certainly
have different meaning.

I enjoyed his vids. The video of him where he ran on my line was a good one. The video starts off with him chugging a beer while camping out in a park somewhere in Chicago. Beer and chicken were the two things he loved most.

Nothing on TV tonight so right back to more "Stobe the Hobo" episodes/chapters on YouTube.
I guess curiosity got the better of me today as I needed to know this guys birthday for one.
Oct 23 1984. Same birthdate as Megan McCain the senators daughter as a close enough example
of reference. Unbelievable placement of planets as all 10 are in one big gob within 100 degrees.
With my astrological experience when you come across a chart like this its from someone who made
quite a "splash" in life. I had him pegged as a Scorpio or Taurus just by the beer consumption and
was right on the Scorpio. I still have have a few more episodes/chapters to watch. Found his last
entry Nov 7 2017 in Baltimore. There are several different accounts of his death from his sleeping
bag getting snagged by an AMTK train and being dragged to death or falling from some bridge to
the tracks below and a train dragged him aways. Like I say once you meet the guy (cyber not real life)
he delivers some pretty strong material to look over and astute observations and who doesnt like
"travel shows".

I think they should ask the train crew that was forced to watch him SPLAT! should be allowed to voice thier opinion of his videos.

Its taken me almost 2-weeks to watch most of the "Stobe the Hobo" videos on YouTube.
Still have a few more "extras to watch". What a personality that couldn't be more
"up my alley". Trains/travel/drinking/danger/speed and most important is Jim's perspective
in every situation holding a stick with a video camera and making all the sense in the world.
I noticed in a few of his videos that he made sure to show the chemtrails in the sky like he
knew what all that was about. So Jim was already in the stages/planning maybe of doing more
than the train hopping videos and get into what he called it "Stobe Attack" when he would be
discussing other things that he knew a lot about and do some piano/organ playing too.
Found this video Stobe the Hobo and his other direction. Love his music.
