Air Fryer

I bought an Air Fryer.  I watched some youtube vids and decided to go with the Black and Decker, cause it two fans and in one vid dude had a chicken leg that was twice as crispy in the black and decker.  Although after reading the reviews I made sure to register it for the 2-year waranty.

So far it made chicken wings the best.  Then I made some pre-breaded shrimp and Calamari that was also great.  The potatoes however reminded me of typical oven baked potatoes, not really fried, I guess cause they don't have enough internal grease to crisp up.

I was thinking about those air fryers also. Problem is with just one person you have to make a weeks worth of food at a time.

The bratwursts looked to die for, but there was 10 of them on the rotissere thing. They come 5 to a pack, I usually eat 2 and stick the rest

in the fridge and nuke them 1 by 1 later, or cut one up in eggs.

youd need 1 for the meat then one for the taters, ...lotta clean up

It came with a divider, so you can split the food half and half.

I have the exact opposite problem, more than 4 pieces of chicken and it starts to get over crowded.  The 8 wings was just about all it could take.  It's really just a convection oven.  It reheated the chicken thigh I had cook the day before just like the first time.

Next up I'll try and find some egg rolls or just make some myself.

 Oh yeah. Chicken legs, thighs.

Beautiful fries. Spuds or sweet potatoes.

Riblets. I got pretty adept over the years

at making oven fries. First time the woman brought

that ActiFry over I thought it was stupid, but was converted

right there. It gets a pretty good workout. Goin on 5 years

old that one. When it wears out we'll get a new one promptly.

We've gifted a couple away. Can't beat Costco for that stuff.

Dint know of an "Air Fryer" until tonight. Sounds interesting. My cooking needs are
currently met with a kitchen stove and pots and pans. Old skoolen Krink.

This Air Fryer is what a microwave was sold as. It reheats everything perfect. Everything comes out crisp and even and only takes 5mins to reheat.
Finally something that kicks ass in the future that isn't the internet.

What's the dough for eggroll wrappers? Is that an Asian grocery thing, or make it yourself?

They're at the grocery store, and the Asian Store.  The thick chinese type are in the healthy section, the thin spring rolls are rice paper and are in the asian section.  Of course its all at the asian market.
