A waterspout is not a hurricane. I only bring this story forth because of the rarity of it. The GPNW is not tornado alley but every now then a "twister" passes through. I rode the ferry boat between Mukilteo and Clinton daily for nearly 7 years back in the mid 1980's. This water spout is very near the old hood.

At 0900 as he does every Friday on our local FM station, Cliff Mass (Prof. of Atmospheric Science, and Climatology) yakked up this latest 'super' storm, and predicted a bad one. His assessment of this one, in the Atlantic/Northeast has me wondering why doesn't the National Weather System have an alert system for this thing, this monster "Perfect Storm" going on right now?
Have you eastern side guys heard anything major yet? Is there anything we can do ta help?

Oh yeah, we have been tracking it. My plans are to buy some hurricane lamps, stock up on some food. That's about all I can see that I need.

Don't bother Phreddie. It's all bullshit. Nothing's gonna happen. Not a damn thing. Just lay in some candy-corn for the neighborhood kids, and Troll... And you'll be fine!
And by all means, turn off the radio, and TV... They're just gonna repeat more of the same alarmist crap as the National Weather Service, and NOAA... Fuck 'em! This is all a conspiracy ta get you ta spend more of your hard earn... More money, aside from what you already collect from your lazy-assed tennants!
What I say is "No news is good enough!" If ya wanna spend money, send it ta me! I'll take care of it, and make use of it in creative ways for ya! And I'm a tax-deduction tu! (The "Uke Retirement Fund").
Astrologically, this thing is going monster because of the Sun conjunct Saturn
aspect. I've seen where storms at sea "mature" during aspects and keep
on going until they hit something days later. This is a "Sun conjunct Saturn"
storm. Where the energy goes is still being determinded. Be on the wrong
end of this storm and things be serious.

They always make a big deal out of a Nor-Easter.
Specially since they haint had one in awhile.
They are out rite now trying to stand in front of huge fans on high setting, trying
to see which pose looks best when reporting in a real storm.
Too much being made of this one. haint shit gonna happen.
When they least expect it is when the shit will hit the fan.
Snippy's Tin Funnel is stuck up his tin ass he's so a-scared
