The GPNW getting hammered by one storm after another since we exited that temp deep freeze Nov 30th. So you know that but do you know this...The Jet Stream is running in a "flatline" from Tokyo to Seattle. I'm missing the Weather Underground map showing this but its got to be unpresidented such a high altitude air flow in a straight line across 5000 miles of the Pacific Ocean and hit me head on. Attached are pix from 10-11pm TV weather forecast for tomorrow/Tuesday.
Wet all day with mostly light rain that shapeshifted to heavy and back again.
No winds in my hood but strong enough to cause power outages in some areas.
So far the puddles in my lawn and gravel driveway are small in size after a "Yellow"
passes over...due to good drainage.

A balmy 49 degrees in South Range, Wisconsin today.
Tell ya Snip.. Was dark here for a few hours Tuesday night.. For our area pretty odd..
50 mph and up gusts practically all day and nite Monday and Tuesday with three and a half inchs
Monday and only inch and a half Tuesday. Today was nice, mid day, so cleaned up some
leaves.. Raining again but no winds yet.. Will probably be shy of a inch for today...
They figure another three days and three fronts too move through... Tuesday had 5 alerts
2 warnings , 2 watch's , and 1 alert.. Been busy but enjoyable..

Watched the Q-13 weather 10pm with Walter Kelly and says Oregon going to get
hit hard with this next system. WA going to get hit hard as well. I cant remember whether
the T-storms come first or last maybe both. Batten down the hatches mntman.

Shouldn't be too bad Krink.. Thursday we should have up to 32 foot waves
and they say going down too about 29 foot for friday.. Should be good days
too go out and watch. Last year they lost about three people if I remember
right account they went out on the points or breakwaters too watch.. Not a good
thing.. Waste of their lives and then they endanger the rescue people too...
Just had a little shower go by, picked up a quarter inch in about 15 minutes..
Take care up there account you will be having the same systems going
through...

I hate storms that arrive in the middle of the night as your sleep may get interrupted.
5AM T-storm would do it. 1 inch an hour rainfall is noisy enough to wake you up.
