Man slain in North Phila.
A shooting last night killed a 24-year-old man outside a North Philadelphia home, police said. Several shots were fired shortly before 9 p.m. at 16th and Master streets, striking the man, police said. He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 9 p.m. Police reported no arrests.

Nobody enters, or leaves. Special permits/ID required for workers from outside the city will be issued only to those whose jobs are 'essential' to the survival of residents of Philadelphia city proper.
Residents will be issued guns. They will be required to carry their guns openly. Anyone who conceals a weapon shall immediately be arrested as a criminal!
And as a last step? Martial Law shall be declared beginning July 4th., 2009!

Police Investigate West Philly Fatal Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
According to police a 28-year-old man was shot to death by a man on a bike as he was driving in his car Monday morning in West Philadelphia.
The victim was driving on Catharine Street when the shooting occurred. The victim was reportedly shot in the back of the head and once in the left thigh.
After the shooting the victim's car rolled until it crashed. The victim was taken to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead at about 10 a.m.
The victim's name has yet to be released as police still investigate.

FRANKFORD - July 8, 2009 (WPVI) -- Police say a man was found shot to death in the Frankford section of Philadelphia this morning.
The discovery was made around 9:20 a.m in the 2000 block of Wilmot Street.
Police say a hispanic man in his 20s was found shot twice, once in the chest.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word on when the man was shot

Man Found Fatally Shot In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
Police are investigating the discovery of a man shot to death in West Philadelphia Wednesday night.
Officers discovered a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound to the head inside a home on the 3800 block of Brown Street at about 11 p.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are unclear when the victim was shot or how long he had been in the Belmont home.
No arrests have been made and a motive for the shooting is unknown at this time. The incident remains under investigation.

James Haywood, of Oxford Circle, was shot several times on Oxford Avenue near Benner Street shortly after 11 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at Albert Einstein Medical Center at 11:45 a.m. Police had no suspects.

Germantown Store Owner Killed During Robbery
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
A storeowner has been shot and killed following an attempted robbery gone wrong Saturday afternoon.
Philadelphia police report, the female owner of Andy's Food Market on the 6700 block of Chew Avenue was gunned down in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
According to reports, the victim's husband was working at the store at the time of the shooting.
Police are questioning one female suspect in custody. No charges have been filed.

Man Gunned Down Outside Frankford Bar
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
Police are investigating a deadly shooting outside a bar in the city's Frankford section early Monday morning.
The fatal shooting happened at about 12:30 a.m. outside a bar located at Torresdale Avenue and Margaret Street.
According to police, the victim left the bar to go to his car and was reportedly returning back to the bar when he was shot in the chest by a gunman. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the suspect got into the passenger side of a gold-colored car and fled the scene.
Detectives from the homicide division are investigating the deadly shooting.
