Man found dead in house
A man in his 30s was found duct-taped and fatally shot in a house in Southwest Philadelphia yesterday. Police said the victim, whose name was not released, was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a property on Shields Street near Elmwood Avenue shortly after noon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
* A teenager died Sunday night after being shot multiple times in the chest on Mutter Street near Westmoreland, North Philadelphia, police said yesterday. Christopher Rivera, of Howell Street near Hegerman, in Wissinoming, was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 10:10 p.m.
Police knew of no motive and made no arrests in either crime. Tipsters can contact homicide detectives at 215-686-3334 or -3335.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
One person is dead and another wounded after a pair of shootings in the Olney section of the city Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the 200 block of Rubicam Street after reports of gunfire at about 5:45 a.m.
A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Around the same time, a second shooting was reported near 3rd Street and Roosevelt Boulevard.
Authorities said a male victim was rushed to Einstein Hospital in unknown condition.
The incidents do not appear to be connected. No arrests have been made in either incident.

A man is in critical condition after being shot in North Philadelphia early Thursday morning.
Police said a man in his 40s was shot in the back of the head while sitting in a van near 10th and Clearfield Streets.
The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
No arrests have been made and further details were not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.

Police Investigate Double Homicide In West Phila.
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
Philadelphia police are investigating a home invasion in West Philadelphia that left two people dead Saturday morning.
Investigators say the victims, Nakeisha Finks, 20, and her boyfriend Janathan Pitts, 21, were duct taped and shot execution style at a home on the 5500 block of Delancey Street in the city's Cobbs Creek section.
Though investigators were called to the home at about 11:30 a.m. the incident appeared to have occurred early Saturday morning.
When police arrived at the house it had been ransacked and there is no immediate indication as to what lead to this incident.
Police do not have any suspects at this time.

Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect involved in the shooting of a 12-year-old girl in the Point Breeze section of the city.
According to police, the young victim was grazed by a stray bullet in the buttocks on the 1200 block of South Bonsall Street and taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition.
Investigators are searching for a heavy-set black male in his 20s in connection with the incident.

According to investigators, both victims were shot in the back. One victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
The second shooting victim was rushed to Temple in critical, but stable condition.
