Snow Event Two/Winter Storm Maya was just more winter misery for the GPNW. Think enough news stories on how Seattle got hit. There so many places around Seattle that got hit harder. Olympic Penninsula like Port Angeles got 2ft. At Krinkville was 7-8" of new snow on top of hardly melted 12" from Super bowl Sunday. I got about 20" of snow in my yard. When you are snowed in you have lots of time on your hands so why not spend some energy on your escape route to the street incase you need to go to the store again someday. 2nd time I've done the driveway sweep of nearly 100ft. Snow Event Three and Four due Sun/Mon/Tues with another foot of snow possible total. The hood got lucky that a good person that was clearing snow at the church parking lot decided to run down our street with his snow plow on a pickup truck. Its still compact snow/ice but not ruts.
Oh shit...sorry! I forgot our winter is nearly tropical by comparison to TW5-K's 'real' winters. Their Canuckistan winters are very, very real. People freeze to death, or are eaten whole by polar bears, and wolves. Especially small children, pets and anyone dumb enough to venture out of doors.
A word of warning: Stay away from windows if you see a bear in your yard. Do NOT photograph a bear without its permission. Nothing angers even the seemingly friendly bear, than a camera clicking, or flashing in his face.

So if you wonder what driving around my area in the snow is like...I found a guy who went out and purposely drove in the worst and took video. Feb 4 "The Super Bowl Snowstorm" and just hours ago Feb 11 and "Snow event Number Four" which is still ongoing. A foot of fresh snow overnight should be an unbelievable sight come daylight.

Thanks Krink! Great vids. Hope you're safe and warm, and not out slogging through that crap! Stay inside.

The west side of Orygun right now; Rain. Heavy drenching rain. Not your 'normal' average rain. Nope!
This could be the old fashioned 'biblical' rains that Gawd (hiz/her/its ownselph) predicted over 2000 years ago!
Perhaps this is how it ends. Or begins to end. Or something...

North Bend and Skykomish WA both got 3ft of snow from Snow Event Three and Four. The location of the Skykomish railcam
is just above the restaurant/hotel. A patron with a pickup truck pulled in and the entire bed of the truck was full of snow like
it was cargo. This is not cargo. The truck "self-loaded 3ft of snow" sitting in the driveway.

Forgive them Fred.
They know not what winter weather is.

But wait, there's more...

...they finally admit that this might just be the BIG flood, the one that sweeps us all off the face of the Earth, according to the bibel!
Which is Gawd's own words. Like or don't!
Halfway up on the dh this morning
Looks like someone found out how the bodyof an aircraft aluminum F150
twists when it hits a one sided dip in the road real hard.
Not us . Not today.
Can I throw my toolbox in the bed?
