Don't drink beer, but I am always interested in the liquor laws. I was shocked when I hit a grocery store in Mrytle Beach looking for Baileys and found out I had to go to a liquor store to buy it. Some places do have Sunday beer sales around here, but they have to have a special permit for it. A store near my house wanted one and they had to collect a set amount of signatures from the neighborhoods around so it could be put on the ballot.

I remember when the Buckeye State had state-run liquor stores, that was the only place you could buy hard liquor, the state had a monopoly on it. You went in and filled out a slip, a guy behind a counter went back and got what you wanted, there was no buying it straight off the shelf.
I also seem to recall that in Ontario, back in the early 1970's, that the only place you could buy beer was in a province-run store. Went on fishing trips up there a few times and that's where we always had to go to get it. I have no idea what it is like now.

The beer Uke. Lol. I will say that when ever I make up a grocery list it never fails that scrawled across the bottom he writes " little blonde". One time I decided to be a smart ass and bought him a Barbie doll, taped a note to it that read " here is your little blonde" and I hid it in his grip.
