Krink, I would shoot that damn tree rat and then dress it up. I've bagged 2 from my living room window this morning..if I get realllllllly bored today, maybe I will do just that!
"Tree Rat"....you are probly right. The "pictured" is very hard to photograph.
Thankfully for digital cameras, real easy to delete the "many" attempts
to catch this varmit "still". Lots of fuzzy and blurry pix get deleted along
with the 1/2 and 3/4 frame pictures of just a portion of the varmit. Right
now this tree rat is running solo so no worries about an infestation anytime
soon.

Not hard to get a good picture of them, just hang a platform bird feeder up and those little bastards will be sitting their fat butts in it all day! Makes them easier to pick off!

The squirrel in my back yard likes apples. Had my 2011
harvest picked several weeks ago and let it sit outside
on my back cement. 2-5 gallon buckets of throw-aways
and a box of keepers. The varmit would be brave enough
to "rob" apples from the buckets. This went on for a week or
so. Decided to dump the apples in the woods deep enough
to not attract other critters. Put the box of keepers in my
fridge. 4 apples were leftover that won't fit and they got
left atop my picnic table. Needles to say...one apple a day
has been disappearing from the picnic table. Just two left.
I bet there will be only one left when I get out of bed today.

Damn tree rats! I'm picking off about 5 a day. Yesterday I took one out and a cat (who apparently lives under my porch) darted out and grabbed him! Awesome! no mess for me to pick up.
Uke, love those pics. The bulldog wins in my opinion. I like the Yoda dog too!
