If the domestic companies made something worthy I would maybe consider buying one, until then it's the imports for me

I have always wondered which was more patriotic: buying a GM car built in Mexico or a Nissan built in Mississippi?

Either way, it's a coin toss at best Blackie. The US auto industry is a mere ghost of the past. Remember when cars were built in Detroit? The US midwest had steel mills? We made machinery. We made steel. We were a manufacturing economy.
Now? Damn near everything we buy, wear, eat, and drive, and the fuel ta drive what we drive is imported! Those facts are reality. Since the late '70s, and '80s...we've become a consumer nation, importing more than we export.
Ya yak on a cell thing, likely made in China, or S. Korea. Computers? China. Parts made in India, Pakistan (Don't ge me started on that outfit...), or Korea, maybe japan...
Check labels! Read the labels... Buy fresh food where available. Support your local economy. Buy American. We DO have choices, and that's probably the best thing about living here. We're all fortunate in that we can choose for ourselves!
Drive what you will. But please boycott stores who sell Chinese made crap! We can make it here, and bring jobs back, one at a time. We can do it!
