The railroad doesn't but I do. I don't work for the railroad, I work for me. I am employed by the railroad.

Thankfully the GPNW is being spared any harsh winter weather at this time.
Rained pretty good Thursday night and above "refridgerator" temperatures.
No Artic invasion on the immediate horizon. Actually the GPNW Ski Resorts
had no or very little snow during the Xmas holiday which would be a "VIR"
hit for those folks as they lost lots of money as compared to a year ago
when there was lots of snow. Should be enough fresh snow tonight and
Friday to get most skiing resorts open for business this weekend.
So I went liquor hunting on Jan 2nd in my hood. Found what I wanted
at the very first stop. Only the Safeway store liquor shelves looked like
you might expect after New Years...a lot of missing bottles.

Fuckers abandoned us in Cambodia....trainmaster finally came and got us 17 1/2 after going on duty. This is why Troll lays off weather.

Those "single digit temps" puts all plumbing to the test.
I had a weekend in December where it hit single digits
2-nights in a row. Been many years since it happened
so all you can do is wrap your outside faucets and the
"obvious" and hope for the best. Made it through this
