Where d'ya think they go? In the coldest winter in GPNW, spring arrives, and they emerge. Or take Greyhound back from Arizona! Snakes on a plane? Bad idea!

The Garter Snake hibernates in underground locations that have a good chance of not
freezing. Think its May before I see a one. My compost pile has been a magnet for
a garter snake community some years after the weather warms.

If a person witnesses this phenomenon, they don't forget it.
I have seen this and my kids were with me. 4 and 6 years old at the time
They said " what are they doing, Dad ? "
I said "they're playing a game of let's roll around and make a ball ."
Still find it kind of creepy to watch.

Maybe the only time I saw a snake ball was living west of Marysville WA.
My backyard late May-early June had every garter snake within a mile
in a twisted mess. Wasn't into taking nature photographs back then as well
not being so sure these garter snakes "weren't poisonous"....

With all that rainy weather in the PNW
you probly need good winshield Viper eh.
Yeah might as well load the bong for a puff or two
and practice shooting boa and arrow in the garage eh.
Dont know about the viper, but ya better take care of the monkey....

No bongs allowed in the garage but protopipes are. "PP2".
I got proof snakes can enter my garage as one got trapped in a wax spill
from one of Mrs Krinks things from cosmetology skoolen that I stored at
a wrong angle and the shit made a very very sticky puddle on the garage
floor and before I could correct the situation a garter snake that just happened
to be in my garage (without proper ID) just happened to slither into the sticky
mess. What are the odds of this happening.
