Hard ta figure what the hell's going on. Iron ore movements are slow. Coal, same deal. Yet the areas around the big old lake seems ta just tick along! Then we gotta 'member it's winter, so the whole thing hasta slow down! And surely Superior (the lake) may be frozen over tu!
Bucket could fill us in better though. Blackie's down and outa action, so maybe he refuses ta comment! You know... What with his attit...
He probably feels better OOS anyway. Yeah!

Yea, Iron Ore is at an all time low, paper production in the shitter, job forecasts that don't reflect the truth about the local economy, Thousands of miners out of work for the past 2 years that don't show up on employment stats, people leaving in droves, etc.
It's hard tu look at a newspaper clipping and assess the situation until you live it. It's hard phukkin times here regardless of what state you live in. Even people with tons of education are sucking hind tit as well.
If these states have this so called "surplus" of money, then it should be returned to the taxpayer, the very ones that were overcharged.

It hasn't been cold enough for the lake tu freeze. LINTCO Pellethead Division has been running it's balls off. There is a pic of the last 4 lakers of the season at Two Swamps loading up. The locks at the Soo are going tu be closing soon.
But for local business, LINTCO never really had much. The Cowboys and the Redheads are relying on international commerce just paasing through here. For now, LINTCO is healthy up here, but it wouldn't take much for that to change. 2LARRCO was the big dawg up here and it's really sobering tu watch the mighty green machine get knocked on it's ass.
I keep telling my guys not to take our present prosperity for granted.
