I'd say yes as the shadow period starts when it wants. Pretty easy to tell when it starts.
It will be some bizarre weather happening to a shutdown of a busy freeway with crashes
or something like that. First signs of computers acting up/internet disruptions. Complete
reversal of previous weather patterns. Since this is a Wintertime MIR period you pretty
much have to expect the weather to extra-wintery maybe.
