We raised three kids and this was what we accomplished:
All could swim. All could drive a 5 speed stick shift vehicle.
As for me, my clutch leg is nearly recovered from 60 years of stick shifts.

Haven't had a stick since I bid my Rabbit farewell sometime about 1990. Kids can't drive a stick but Mrs. Cy learned in the aforementioned Rabbit. Dandy little car that served us well.
What's left that you can buy with a stick? Last stick I drove was probably my sister's treasured Mustang that she calls Baby, red convertible.

With the hood-up Uke I thought you were having a problem and waiting for AAA.
You probly don't know how to "fuzz-out" your license plates yet.

FFFAAAAAWWWKK.... They are building these new cars so low they always are grinding on the the sidewalk/parking stop/curb.
SUV/s etc are high enough that the tire hits first.

Nice 1970 Mustang! (Looks much nicer in a 6-speed.)
However, that VVA plaque needs to be centered between the plate and the 'Stang badge if "Snippy" is going to drive behind you.

Ford Motor Co. decided to eliminate the V-6 after 2014. But it's one of their best engines ever. These 3.7 liter engines remain popular among certain buyers, and loyalists. The V-6 puts out plenty of ponies, and torque compared to smaller V-8s. Think the 289s popular in smaller Fords built in the '60s.
The 'four on the floor' transmission is gone now too, replaced by 5 and 6 speed manual, and automatic boxes. Both very good transmissions.
Oh yeah, since carburetors have gone the way of the tyranosaurus, replaced by very good fuel injection systems, the need to adjust, and tune is gone forever! What's not ta like? This is a very likeable car!
EXTRA:
(from page 7 of the 2012 Collection) This is a 3.7L 4V TI-VCT V6 engine. It is connected to a 6-Speed manual transmission and gets 19 mpg city / 29 mpg highway. Not bad for a 305 horsepower engine!

Over 'Good Friday/Easter' holidaze travelled right through my most dislike city in your state Krink! "WA state's notorious speed trap!" Going towards Spokane (Cheney/Tyler) to my friend's farm for a visit.
After a few days, did it again, but via US 395 south to Oregon and home. That route skirts Ritzville limits, but all their gendarmes patrol the area. Big area for durgs, illegal aliens, and *speeders, of course.
(Uke is a notorious law breaker who does exceed the phony assed 'limits') On one stretch of 395 actually pushed to *105 in 6th. Probably coulda hit 140 easily. That little V-6 was just humming... Ove it!
