After relentless pressure from my kids I went to "Thor: Love and Thunder" in a theater a few months ago. Before that it'd been years. Selective seating sounds like a great way to slow the line down to a crawl.
Actually we saw Avatar 2, a couple months ago. We bought the tickets online and you just walk in. The line was for the popcorn and candy.
Now that I think about it, no one ever checked our tickets, but if you sneak in you'll most likely end up in someone elses seat.
