Ya know what'll be a big surprise? When cops battle it out with perps using water guns! Or by throwing water balloons, or snowballs!
Nobody dies, but points are kept as 'kills,' wounded, and seriously wounded!
Or they start using bananas, and other fruit, or vegetables! Throw 'em at each other using similar scoring systems!

There will be a spike in the body count once the snow melts.

Will the ones covered by snow count? Bananas are perfect for battling in the streets... One may inflict lethal damage to an opponent with deadly accuracy via the ol' sidearm toss! Try it yerownsefl! Nail the neighbor's cat!

Yep, day of death would be hard to determine, so it will have to be made say, the day the body was found, hence the spike will occur during the thaw. You lost it. the banana boat won't be in for weeks, the city would be unarmed.

'Most Wanted' on Frazier kin
The TV show "America's Most Wanted" on Saturday will profile the murder of boxing legend Joe Frazier's stepgrandson in hopes of eliciting tips to nab a second suspect in the May 2009 slaying.
Peter Lyde Jr., 25, was working as a security guard at the Pleasures on the Ridge bar, on Ridge Avenue near 22nd Street, in North Philadelphia, on May 31 when an argument inside erupted in gunfire. Lyde, stepson of Joe Frazier's daughter, Common Pleas Judge Jacqui Frazier-Lyde, escorted the arguing bar patrons outside but was hit in the cross-fire when the pair began firing at each other. Lyde died within hours at Hahnemann University Hospital. Police arrested Rodney Evans, 32, of West Philadelphia, last September in the slaying but are seeking a second suspect. The show airs at 9 p.m. on Fox.

Not bad. Yet. When the big melt comes, the freaks, creeps, and shooters will take ta the streets with a vengeance!
All those frustrated crazies, tired of watching reruns of Jerry Springer, will be loosed on an unsuspecting city. And the killings will spike! It'd be much safer ta have another SEVEN weeks of winter back there!

All the murders, all the investigations... The cops gotta have the toughest job going. People just take cops for granted. It's like ya know deep inside, that the policeman, with his dark navy uniform, his gun, his nightstick, and his handcuffs...his demeanor, just followed us from kidhood into adulthood.
What's happened ta society, that we've lost that respect, the civility that we learned as kids?
Respect for those who risk their lives daily ta protect the rest of us from the bad guys...
Cops. Soldiers. Firemen. The good guys. They've become afterthoughts. Unless ya need one, or a few of 'em at once... They're proud ta serve, and never ask for anything. But they deserve so much more than respect.

A reply, to anybody interested. Tired of all the cops bein' killed by nutcase? Maybe nailing the bastards to a wall and letting the rest of us stone 'em ta death would help relieve the pain! Or once they're convicted, hang 'em in public! Or gas 'em. Or electrocution via 'the chair' before a live audience of their friends...
In any case my pleas for sanity ain't gonna change a damn thing. And treating cop killers, cop shooters...like common felons hasn't helped a bit! Time ta take revenge? Or at least avenge their deaths. Kill all cop killers by whatever means!

Trooper Freddy Williams confirmed the arrest, but didn't have any other details yet. They were preparing to release more information later this morning.
Meanwhile, the trooper's family is speaking out about the traumatic event.
Johnson was shot twice in Long Beach while he was responding to a call. He was rushed to a Portland hospital where he is recovering.
Scott's mother Linda Johnson said she couldn't believe it what happened to her son.
"He said, 'Mom, I've been shot in the head,' " Linda Johnson said. "I feel that he thought he was going to die. I really do."
The State Patrol says Scott Johnson was working a drunk driving case in Long Beach when a man walked up, started an argument, and then shot him twice, including once in the head.
"I love my Dad very much," said Scott Johnson's son Derek, "and he's one of the most honest men I've met in my entire life and he does not deserve this."
Scott's doctors told family members they aren't sure if they will ever be able to remove the bullet lodged in his head, but he is expected to recover. He did lose his hearing but doctors anticipate it will come back.
In the meantime, a gunman remains on the loose; one that family members fear could strike again.
"I want this person caught before he hurts someone else," Linda Johnson said. "And I know someone out there has information, and I want them to please step forward."
Dozens of officers spent Sunday going house-to-house all throughout the Long Beach peninsula. Investigators consider this an ambush, and believe Johnson was chosen at random.
"My whole life I knew my Dad's job; I knew the risks that were entailed to that job," Derek Johnson said. "But it wasn't a reality until now."
Trooper Johnson is a 25-year veteran of the State Patrol. He has worked in the Pacific County area his entire career, but did not recognize the shooter.
A $26,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman.
The suspect is described as white male, 35 to 40 years old, unshaven, with a light tan complexion. He stands about 5-feet-10 or 5-feet-11 and weighs an estimated 185 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored, insulated shirt and possibly a knit cap.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-283-7808 toll-free in Washington state. Anyone calling from outside Washington is asked to dial 1-360-405-6650 until a toll-free number can be established for out-of-state calls.
State Patrol officials said they have been surprised at the number of tips coming in from Oregon, and are working to expand the coverage area of the existing 800-line.
"If you live in Oregon and tried to call in a tip, please try again at our new number. We very much want to hear from you," Sutton said.
