Upgraded camera, gone fancy, my daughter has one fancy camera that her husband got her because, I suspect, he wanted it. Nikon, Digital SLR, the whole works.
Been a hard year for dogs around the Burning Journal.

Freddie is a mere shadow. Proof? See his avatard...
Sorry to hear bout the other dogs. Mine was almost 9. Old age for a Dane. Looking like my 7 year old girl might not be further behind...I find out more next week.
I'm a Canon girl. Hubby bought me a 50D almost 2 years ago, got quite a collection of lenses too, just feel like I lost my "eye" for it.

I've never lost my eye when it comes to photography.
I recognize when it's time to grab my camera.
Had a couple years ownership of a Nikon F in the
early 1970's. My best B&W photography came from
that camera. That camera got stolen from my auto
parked in front of my house along with my "8-Track"
tape player the day before I was to embark on my
first week of paid vacation time earned on the railroad.
Big loss! Took a couple years to buy another camera.
Bought the Canon AE-1 right after the model was
introduced. Shot 10,000 pix with it atleast.
Have to say I like Canon and Nikon alot.

If I'm best known for a "few pictures" I took, then I'd say my lifetime was a success.

Krink's photos, most of the best, are B&W. And they're more PNW territory than say back east. But my memory ain't what it was last Wednesday, so... Meanwhile let's see if Krink responds.

Since I was into the early days of posting to railroad picture websites,
and I was using a crappy scanner hooked to a crappy PC and on
direct-dial internet service, I see where some "re-scanning" is in
order. Got a list made already of "re-dux". Still have many more
unposted pix to post. Just awaiting my next energy surge to get
me going again on this.
