In other words... There's aliens out there in other galaxies like Andromeda. And we're lucky because we live in the Milky Way galaxy... But with all these flying saucers and stuff, aliens living on other planets, and stuff... And some aliens that landed in Nova Scotia...
Snippy thanks Uke for posting a link to an eye candy hollow headed bimbo standing amidst disaster bimboing on and on about stinky "corrosive oil".
She might oughta be worried about the 100s of million dollars of infrastructure like signals, switches, fare collection equipment, escalators, and elevators that have been ruined.
Knock, knock, anybody home?
Anybody home who.

Love it or hate it, GE and PCBs will outlive every last one of us. And you're likely ta meet the Reaper when yer time's up, no matter what kills ya. PCB-caused cancer is highly overrated, and rarely proven.
Shit, how about all those PCB's in the transformers??
Can you say cancer rate increase?

Claivn... The oil-cooled transformers with PCBs (oil-stabilizer) have mostly been replaced...mostly. The problem with the oil, and release of the PCBs, is when the transformers are broken open, and the oils are leaked into the ground.
Older units which have been recycled for the copper, and component innards, are usually handled by specialty recyclers (back east). Chances of a PCB release, slim ta none as the older style units are replaced by utilities.
