Seems like there's only about 80(M) difference in temps between here and there.
#1- it's humid here b)- the difference is much less when measured in C
Somebody should be out enjoying mama's Phat Bike tuday. Snippy was out enjoying his MTB.

At least you wouldn't be eaten by the bears for another 3 months...

So if you brought your gub with going to the mailbox and saw a bear...shoot it.
I was going through the "Joy of Cooking" cookbook today and just happen to
run across "Bear" on page 454. Remove all the fat from the meat at once as it
turns rancid rapidly. If marinated at least 24 hrs in an oil based marinade, all bear,
except black bear, is edible. Cook after marination as for any recipe for beef pot roast
or stew. Bear cub will need about 2 1/2 hrs cooking. For an older animal allow
3 1/2-4hrs cooking. Always want to make sure bear is always well cooked through.

People here eat black bear constantly. They even have special hunts for it.

Bear season down here, black-bear is always listed. Tags provided. They like to know weight, where it was harvested, etc. Had bear meat years ago while still employed by 2Larrco! Guy's wife nailed it with a bow.
He had it made into steaks, sausage, roast, smoked jerky... Good stuff! Everybody working swing that day loved that stuff! And filled their bellies full!

Be glad ya don't reside in Canuckistan. The entire country is experiencing really, really shitty weather! And tomorrow, well it could be worse yet! Hang on Alberta, Manitoba. Relief is on the way. Patience friends, patience...
