Deadly Germantown Shooting Under Investigation
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
Police are searching for a suspect after a deadly shooting in the Germantown section of Philadelphia Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the 800 block of Locust Avenue after reports of gunfire at about 10 a.m.
Crews rushed a male victim in his 40s from the scene to Einstein Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead just after 10:30 a.m.
Witnesses reported seeing two men arguing prior to the shooting. Further details were not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation. If you have any information, please contact police.
A man was fatally shot in the head in Germantown the morning of June 17.

A shooting in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia left two people dead Sunday evening.
According to police shots were fired on the 2200 block of Wanamaker Rd. at about 7:45 p.m.
Both of the victims are reportedly females. One of the victims, 40, was rushed to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania with a gunshot wound to the head where she was pronounced dead just after 8 p.m.
The other victim, age unknown, reportedly died at the scene.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)
Police are searching for a suspect involved in a deadly shooting in North Philadelphia late Sunday night.
Officers were called to Front and Westmoreland Streets after reports of gunfire at about 10 p.m.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was rushed to Temple University Hospital with gunshot wounds to his stomach. He was later pronounced dead.
The victim's identity has not been released pending the notification of family members.
No arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation.
