Well May got off to a "summery start" with lots of 70's and 4-80 degree degree days (81-85-87-84 degrees). Got a lot of "belated" and current gardening accomplished. I know a dream when I see one. Now mid-May the GPNW is going into showery unsettled cool weather. Not "that" cool with nightime temps staying close to 50 degrees and with any sunbreaks at all its 65-70. Sposed to be like this til June. Great weather for all my seed plantings to emerge...but also slugs are coming out of the woods/woodwork headed right towards my starts. Need to mention the mosquitoes are ready to bite you within minutes after 1700hrs if you havent been bitten already. I havent been bit by a mosquito in a very long time cuz I "can feel when one has landed on me". I got "good reflexes" and a "quick swat" and the "mosquito carcas" will be hauled of by an ant in the near future.

Garlic. Onions tu. Hopefully those two 'herbs' are part of your annual plantings. Either one keeps your blood clear of crap...but garlic in your system kinda helps repel the tiny flying pests that want your blood!

What I got right now Uke is a 4'X4' square with green onions going to seed. It's worked out great over the years saving seed from these green onions. I got pretty much all the onion seed to keep this process going for ever. Havent planted garlic for the last couple years many because I wouldnt be able to use up 144 heads of garlic cooking the way I do today. My local mega-mart sells a head of garlic for 49 cents. Seems high priced but worth it considering how much I use compared back in the old days where a bowl of garlic went into some dishes. October is garlic planting season in the GPNW and so I got til then to decide whether to "plant".
She puts out, tu.
Uke has no credibility!
That there is an overstatement. Let the facts prove the real truth! Uke is irrelevant tu!
Defrocked Uke has no credibility!
Oh damn! Hey wait a sec... What ever happened ta 'do overs'? Wouldn't that help? After all EVERYBODY deserves a second chance!
Are we really in May? Britain hit by SNOW as 65mph winds sweep across the country and a month's worth of rain falls in just 24 hours
