Not NO But Hell NO! Just heard it again on the news about an app to locate any girls scout in your area so you can order your cookies. Bad Idea! We have a sex offender registry lets not have a possible victim registry!

Please post that app Tu. Almost time phor cookies!
This just in! Talked to GS office in SLC. I was assured that in using the App you give 'your' contact information so 'they' can contact you. You do NOT get contact information of the girls. When they do deliver cookies they are at least in pairs or accompanied by adults. Most sales are now done at public booths. She assured me that safety is paramount. She also said she will contact the media to help them better understand the nature of the application. The thanked me heartily for my concerns. I feel good.

A big attaboy goes out ta Tu phor his alertness! Uke was concerned as well. Kids are vulnerable as it is. Any high-tech shit that makes 'em more of a target is just bad news!
Thanks Tu!

My problem with the girl scouts is they sell "garbage disguised as a cookie". Think they should offer up some "food awareness" class within the organization.
