Its weird how I came about this news. Sometimes I
watch the CBC 10PM National news on the tube on
Sunday night. Last time I watched was the news of
closing of the Catipillar/GMD plant in Ontario. Last
night I put the CBC on pause for a smoke break to
not miss the "National". First thing is this Via
Passenger train derailment with loss of life.

Reminds me of 2LARRCO's incident last year when we lost three as well. One was a trainee freight conductor. The conductor survived. Barely.
And old friend...he's off. Likely never work again.
