I wanted single payer for all. I don't want this thrown out. My daughter will be no longer on my policy. People would no longer be able to get insurance if they have a pre existing condition. Children born with any defect won't be insurable.

Its too bad Freddie, But thats what big medical wants. Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, etc.
What should have been legislated as a takeover of everyones healthcare just like they were in the Military, Ie Veterans Administration becomes sole employer of Doctors, runs hospitals etc. And, since that would have happened, the system would be run inside a budget, instead of a system being perpetuated by the Congress now, of a "For as much profit as they can take".
Those big healthcare concerns make Billions every year. Those fat cats dont wanna lose thier gravy Train. Its those people who set the rates who have the cost of healthcare so high now. Until we get rid of these people, no one is going to be able to afford healthcare.
Before Obama was elected, I thought a nationwide provider of healthcare was what he was talking about. Just like Canada, Germany, etc has. But no, he swayed with the top 10 percenters and gave us this abortion, where the fat cat Giant companies provide healthcare that citizens have to buy, supposedly not knowing the system is supposed to come out of the taxes you already pay to the government.
Instead of Universal, paid by the government healthcare for all citizens, this has become a government holding a gun to the citizens head forcing them to pay the Robber Barons for thier care above and beyond the taxes they already pay.

Oh, I am not happy with it, but I still don't want it thrown out. I have no problem with the mandatory payer system, but I can see how it can be unconstitutional.
It's a 800 billion dollar a year industry that is the real death panel as I can see. I rarely have had to deal with them, but it is always a delaying game to get the bills paid.

No good can come from this "legislation" other than incorporating everybody into the "big brother medical system" where you have no chance really. This is what the Nazi's tried in WW2 and still goes on today. You get the medical department making decisions in your behalf. How many times a day do you see commercials from drug companies that are encouraging you to put your whole life in a doctors hand...as if they were gawds. They are not gawds in fact they are mostly illiterate to what the "real plan" is. Most doctors are "pawns" today. They get high billing these days but they are not a "higher authority" on life. The body has much different concerns than the soul has. If you are an advanced soul it's
still tricky trying to figure out who to satisfy...the body or the soul.
