Fog with freezing drizzle is expected across much of western and central North Dakota tonight. Another storm system will impact the area late tonight into Sunday. This will yield freezing rain first beginning in the northwest tonight, spreading across much of the central Sunday morning. The greatest ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are expected across the northwest and north central. By late morning and into the early afternoon, precipitation will transition to mostly rain, with the threat for a wintry mix shifting to the Turtle Mountains through the James River Valley.

45 degrees is quite low. So do you cover your precious plants when temps dip that low? So what do you do to prepare for "such cold" Snippy?" Wrap the pipes?

It's been interesting heating my house lately in the mild temps. Its a fire every other night. Night one the house is so warm I got to open my bedroom window before sleep. Next day the house is still warm enough to go without a fire. Every piece of firewood is precious. Any day you dont burn wood is more for later on. I'm burning forestry products as I type.
Aparently. In North Dakota it is! At least that's what the National Weather people say. Damn!
