Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) Fort Wayne police are currently investigating a robbery at the U.S. Post Office located in the 4100 block of Hessen Cassel, near the McKinnie Ave.
Initial reports indicate that the post office was the scene of an afternoon armed robbery.
We have a crew on the way and will have more information as details are confirmed.
School buses will not be delivering students for drop off in the area of the post office.
Students that ride the bus and are to be dropped off outside the restricted area will be dropped off first. The situation will be reassessed and students will either be dropped off at their normal stops or taken back to school for parents.

The Post Office needs extra financing to cover the extra storage charges for hanging on to your mail longer and longer.
