...update: Don't try this. At home, or anyplace. Uke fails!
The other day made corn bread with freash blueberries tossed in.
Great, came out excellent, hot and tasty! Mmmm, good...
Buttered with chili, no beans! Great meal. But today wanted
a couple pieces, so inta the ol' microwave they go! Bad idea!
The blueberries exploded! Learned NOT ta reheat anything
like that again! Next time just put 'em inta the toaster oven.
Not everything should go into your microwave. Fruit for instance.

Nothing should go into a microwave oven. Unplug it now.

Yep! Used ta just 'warm-up' previously cooked cereal, or ta soften butter, or reheat a bowl of chili... Now it's time ta quit. The thing is hardwired ta the joint, as it's permanently installed about the stove in the kitchen.
Toaster-oven thing seems appealing after that last stu... Learning experience!

Very funny Calvin. Back when I did own a microwave oven (before I got the memo on microwave ovens) I remember sparking going on like that when ever I placed a coffee mug "with the gold plated rim". Think it took me twice to not use that mug again in the microwave. Yes the toaster oven is a much better way to go. Some of the higher end models in the $50 dollar price range have dual toasting/convection oven features.
