...goin' through all the crap accumulated over the years, lookin' at at least 13, no 15, 16 pair of shoes! Boots, sneakers, and maybe sandals, bedroom slippers, and some cheap-ass slides!
Nobody needs more'n like maybe four pair of shoes! (Not ta mention the pair that Troll's Denver cop didn't want back in 2007, or so).
Counted TWO pair of motorcycle boots. One pair of 'western' style boots...and a pair of Red Wing steel toed work boots purchased through 2LARRCO's boot program.
Damn! That's more shoes than ya could ever need. Anybody need shoes? Call me...
Salvation Army donation time if nobody calls...

How we supposed to know if we want them if we don't know what size they are? And, are they big enough for Bucket to use on kids?
Uke, remember Imelda Marcos? Hmmmm:

Yeah...she did have a few more shoes than anybody else on the planet! All these are 11s, way tu small for Buckethead of course.
Most are used, but serviceable. The 'extras' probably be donated ta Salvation Army's nearest collection/donation point, along with a few clothes.

11 might be right depending on where and who the manufacturer was.
But I like the feeling of brand new shoes . Got my eye on a pair of all weather hikers
but first need to deliver a few to one of the local thrift shops, too.

My shoe rack contains 2 pair of shoes. I wear Birkenstock Garden clogs at home...so easy to slip-off at the door coming inside. My going to town shoes are a pair of Nike's that are about 10 years old but have never been "in the mud". Back when I was working on the RR, the last 10 years as a bridge tender, we had to wear steel-tipped working boots and the BN boot program paided about 80% of the price so I guess thats good. Just before I took the buy-out, I got one more pair of Red-Wing steel tipped boots...that are still in the box... unopened after 14 years. Do moths like leather?

No, but brown recluse spiders like places that haven't been visited by humans for a long time.

The most likely mean spider to inhabit my garage 6-months out of the year is the "aggresive house spider". Big spider that gets confused with several other dangerous spiders like the Brown Recluse and the Hobo Spider. The "Tegenaria Gigantea" is not a spider you want running up your shirtsleeve. A very "responsive" spider...to its trampoline like web that is usually very easy to recognize. This is where the spider lives. Anything resembling the vibrations of an insect having some difficulty on the web-trampoline will get a big spider "pronto" to attack the insect. So Calvin I will wear gloves if ever opening the big Red-Wing box.
Yeah...all very nice. But nobody I know, unless they're tripping on acid... Gets that close to spiders! And I'm not about ta go crawlin' around in spaces, or under houses! The fuckin' Brown Recluse lives a very quiet, undisturbed life simply because most of us DON'T fuck with 'em.
And I'm not about ta start now! I leave spiders alone. Snakes tu!

Surrendered three pair of really, good, almost brandy-new shoes in ta my local salvation Army this morn... Including the pair Troll's Denver cop pal didn't want. Gonna gather all the leftovers ta figure out which are keepers, and which are either throwers (a la Dubya), or can be used by someone else.

This is fuckin' ridiculous. Four pair of boots. No FIVE, including the pair I have on. Four pair of regular day-ta-day shoes. Two pair of sneaks. Two pair of 'slides.' Two pair of sandals...and that includes a pair of very old, worn out Birkenstocks.
Oh yeah...a pair of Red Wing steel-toed work boots. So let's do the math: 5+4+2+2+2+1=16 Sixteen pair. Shoes more or less.
Probably get rid of five right now. That leaves eleven (11) if yer counting along. Now these shoes, and boots, sneakers... Shit! Forgot a pair of bedroom slippers. Do they count as shoes? That's twelve (12).
Not even close ta Imelda Marcos! I'll consider which ones I don't wear all that much, and maybe toss 'em, or just leave 'em where they'll be found!
