PLANT CITY, Fla - Suzanna Ruiz-Elizarraga wanted a paid day off so bad, she concocted a story about armed robbery at the gas station where she works.
She told deputies Monday that armed men came into the gas station and robbed the place, according to Hillsborough County deputies.
The 29-year-old didn't even have to call police. Authorities say two deputies were already parked at the Racetrac at 6050 60 Highway E. in Plant City.
An arrest report states Ruiz-Elizarraga gave multiple statements to deputies. Multiple deputies came to the gas station as well as crime scene technicians. Suspect alerts were also issued.
It was after reviewing store security video that deputies deemed her story to be false. Deputies say there was no armed robbery and she made up the entire scenario right down to the suspect descriptions.
All of Ruiz-Elizarraga's statement were given under oath.
She was later arrested at her home on Violet Street and is now charged with giving a false report to law enforcement.
According to deputies, store policy states that any employee victimized in a robbery at the store gets a paid day off work.
Ruiz-Elizarraga bonded out of jail and is no longer employed by the gas station.

And the key words are highlighted. Plus, think of the benefits, every week, heck, every single day, there'd be a new gal to help. Florida's full of them. You'd become a regional hero, at teh very least, regional do-gooder.

This prize is so humbling and well-deserved. Snippy realized the prize winning material posted by an ineligible defrocked Fuck Uke. It paid off with the GOLD!
