The Pope was quoting what Jesus had already said. Kind of ironic. Almost like saying "Conspiracy skeptics celebrate as Bigfoot admits UFOs are probably not real".

They found Bigfoot? And didn't kill him?

These lazy modern day scientist haven't gotten any hair samples, bones, or scat either. Just first hand sightings that all happen to be in grizzly bear country.

Please see Snippy's avatard for proof. It is a picture of the capture and DNA sample attempt. Too bad he got away before he could be kilt.
I would say Pope Francis has acknowledged that
there are "many advanced incarnates" in the world
today, those that have no need for "religion" because
at some point (hopefully) you understand how it works
for you personally. "Self-responsibility" and you have
the tools to make it so on your own without any e.t.'s
help. They just dont teach that...that you can take care
of yourself...no they teach "depend on Govt and the
Churches and Gawd as if it will be of any help.
This news story was "unexpected" from the Pope
from my perspective.
Pope Francis says atheists can be good
