I notice "Daloot" is listed as a Max Low Temp. Would of never guessed that.

Might have set a record low high-temp for the Aug 1th...
67 degrees. Been a long string of 80's with strong
sun to a 67 with heavy grey overcast. Same for
Friday and then its supposed to resume summer again.
I was actually looking forward to some disruption of the
every day 80+ and sun for a chance to get caught up
on house cleaning. I turned into a "white-tornado" Thursday
and vacuumed down and up stairs and dusted everything.
Turned-on the dishwasher, washed a load of clothes,
swept the kitchen and hallway, and some cleaning I
discover as I go. It's all about "balance" for me and a
35 day rainless streak is not "in-balance" with the weather.
Who knows if it will rain at all tonight-Friday with a 30-40%
chance. I've withheld normal watering with the chance the
rain will do it for me many a time only to get passed by
without any rain. Pretty strange the first day of August
is 67 degrees.

Well I was glad to see it raining when I got up. The garden was getting
it next water from the skies after 35-36 days and not my garden hose.
It rained all day and we needed it but the temp topped out at 63 degrees.
That has to be a new low "high" temperature for August 2th. Sun is coming
back this weekend and things get back to normal in time for Seattle Sea-Fair.
The GPNW just logged a rainless July.
Temps have been in the 80's almost
every day. Set a record for the most sunlight
in a month. It's been a summer that those
that love to play in summer weather
have to be getting "pooped-out". For
me its trying to do outdoor work and
just how much you can get done with that
hot sun bearing down on you. So it seems
the GPNW has its own "summer-thing" going
on that is much different than the rest of
the nation. Read this article and I wonder
how this could be happening...celestial
influences.
