Snippy's got more figs right now than anybody could ever eat. Unless you're 1000 birds.
Of course, Snippy isn't much of a fig guy.
PS: If you are a fig preserve maker, make sure and add your citron or orange or lemon peel or zest to make them right.

I have grown a lot of different varieties in the garden
but never got around to figs. Kiwi fruit is another that
would do well in my hood but never got around to it.
I did grow ginger and sweet potatoes successfully one
year. Think I saw a NatGeoWild show a while back that
took a whole hour to document all the "comers" to this
huge fig tree in the jungle. The Fig Tree is like a "tree of life".
