It's almost September Krink, and August is probably a good time ta stock up on firewood. How much do ya pay for a cord these days? And what kinda wood ya gettin'?
Does yer guy deliver cut-up rounds ya can toss in yer stove, or what?

I'm a "grandfathered in wood-burner" so I get the grandfather
prices. $125 a chord of perfectly season alder and a mix of other
good firewood, delivered split and ready to burn. Need to call the
guy this week as the sun is not blazing and it might be a good
time to "do wood". I've been getting 3-chord each year and man
its come close to "not enough" the last few years. For a wood
burner its not a question of staying warm "during winter", its
more of a question "how long will spring be winter". You need
enough wood to go to/thru May.
Wow isnt that good news. So can I order
an extra chord of firewood?
"Farmers' Almanac" predicts a "bitterly cold" winter
