Record downpours happen way more often today every
where. I call it "serious weather" as a result of the
"celestial weather" which adds "emphasis" to whatever
weather developes. This is 2013 and there are a lot of
players involved the daily weather "creations" and
weather "trends". This seems to be a trend where
a large geographic area gets hit with 15-20" of rain
in a day or two.

My nephew's wife pictured herself in Denver the other day, standing under an umbrella and drinking Starbucks. (Uke, they've not joined the boycott). Some comment about Starbucks in the rain was made. (Uke, she's addicted to the stuff).

News outa Colorado says the rains have been pouring on Denver as well... The eastern plains are flooded tu! Many of Denver's 'burbs have been alerted to prepare for evacuation... Damn! A statewide declaration of emergency?
