Funny how they say lightning doesn't strike the same place twice. It's true. Whatever lightning hits gets vaporized for whatever area occurs, due to length of strike, severity of strike etc. In this example the finger was struck and destroyed. Since its gone, it can't be struck again. So the palm gets hit the next time, the next time the wrist and so on... It's not the same place.
Think that hand is now down to no fingers.
